A merry welcome out of my kitchen for the return of my beloved husband 🙂

recipe by rule of thumb:

  • 300 g flour
  • 1 pack dry yeast
  • 60-90 g sugar
  • 1/2 table spoon salt
  • 1 pack vanilla sugar
  • 2 hand full of raisins and some candied orange peel if you like
  • 2.5 dl milk
  • 80-100 g butter (let it melt in the milk, but should not become too hot)add to the dry flour mix and stir a bit
  • 1 battered eggadd and stir all to a very nice dough until it becomes puffy.  .

Put it in a bowl and let it rest for approx. 1 hour, so that it will double the size.

stir and whisk again and let it rest for another 1 hour.

Prepare a nice form that you butter and dust with flour for example or bread crumbs.

bake it approx. 35-45 minutes at approx. 180 Degree Celsius in the oven. Let it cool and dust it with icing sugar.
