recipe by rule of thumb:

  • 125 butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • vanilla sugar, 1 pinch salt, 1/2 Päckchen baking powder, cinnamon
  • 100-150 g flour
  • 150-200 g grounded almonds
  • 4 apples peeled, in quarters
  • 100-150 g almond lamellas, 75 g butter, 75 g sugar

Well I do not perfectly remember the quantities, since I stir my cakes together as I feel, but it should be quite all right.

Stir warm butter to foam and add sugar, then one stir in one egg after the other and all the spice (without cinnamon), then add flour and grounded almonds. Will make a fluffy nice dough that you put in your form. Press the quarter of apples that you cut in lamellas to cover the paste and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Roas almond lamellas with butter and sugar in a pan and put on top of the cake.

Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for approx. 50 minutes and cover the cake after 15-20 minutes with aluminium foil so that the almonds do not get burnt.

Tastes really great. Fluffy base, soft apples and crunchy top. 🙂

En Guete
